The great thing about getting out and about is seeing sights you want to capture and show to other people. Now you have the chance to share your favourite English countryside view with everyone who visits this website.

Simply email us your photo in electronic format (72dpi) with your name, where you are from and a brief description of when and where the photo was taken and why it is special to you. We will try to include as many photos as we can.

Minehead Quay at dawn

I planned to walk on the South West Coast Path which starts here at Minehead and set out early. This view over the quay was taken just as dawn was breaking.

Whitby scene

This picture was taken in late afternoon in August. I was pleased with the composition and colours of this unusual scene.

Fowey

The monochrome nature of this image really worked for me as it highlights the textural differences between the pebble and the water.

Tree

I took this photo last autumn in the woods near to where I live. This tree stands out from those around it with the thick, moss-covered trunk and low branches.

High force on a wet October day

Sheltering underneath a tree from the rain, this photo was taken through the branches looking towards a fast-flowing waterfall.

Beach huts at Littlehampton

It took a while for the beach to clear to have a clean shot of the huts but I think it was worth it. I love the simplicity and strength of this image.
