East Midlands
An area that includes Roman towns such as Lincoln, Nottingham, Derby and Leicester, it has long been known as a manufacturing heartland, yet it has also some of Britain’s best farmland.
With the low-lying Fens, an extensive canal system and a choice of hill ranges including the Chilterns to the south and the Peak District to the west, it offers a diversity of opportunities for every type of walker.
We are still gathering information on walks in this area. Please come back again as we will be adding walks in the future. Below are links to other websites where you can get details of loads of walks.
