Our capital city is blessed with parks and open spaces. As well as the Royal parks such as Richmond Park in the south west, Greenwich Park in the south east, and St James’ Park in the heart of the city, there are wide open spaces such as Hampstead Heath, with its fabulous views over London. And if you’ve only got an hour or so to spare, commons such as Wandsworth, Clapham and Tooting offer the chance to get away from it all for a while.
