North West
It’s impossible to sum up this huge area in a few words, because it includes such an enormous variety of attractions. There is the dramatic backdrop of the Lake District. The wide-open spaces of Bleasdale Moor and the Forest of Bowland. The buzz of the regeneration of two of Britain’s most historic cities, Liverpool and Manchester, and the sandhills and dunes of Formby, which provide the largest area of undeveloped dunes and coastal woodland in England.
Here is our first walk in the North West. We are still gathering information on walks in this area. Please come back again as we will be adding more walks in the future. Below you’ll find links to other websites where you can get details of loads of other walks.
